You will create a biographical sketch and time line of one the rulers above. You may pick the ruler that you would like to present.
Requirements: You will choose one monarch and complete the following:

Research your monarch using at least two different sources

Write a 4 paragraph about your monarch with at least 100 words.

Introduction: Introduce your ruler by saying where and when he ruled and an overall description of the type of ruler he was. Include his most major accomplishment

Paragraph 2: Say when and where (country) that he was born and BRIEFLY describe his family situation. For example was either of his parents a monarch? What kind of upbringing or preparation did the ruler have? Include only the information that’s relevant or that explains how the person became the absolute ruler of his country. Also discuss the ruler’s character (what kind of person was he and what kind of ruler)

Paragraph 3: Discuss the major events, challenges, victories etc of the person’s rule. Foe example, if there was a war during their rule, what was the war fought over and what was the outcome? How did he handle these major events? This should reveal his character.

Conclusion: Do not give any new information in the conclusion.

Create a timeline for your ruler.
On your timeline you need to include:
Pictures, quotes, graphics, definitions, and maps
4-5 Pictures of your ruler at different points in his life
1-2 quotes of things that he said during his ruling
1-2 definitions explaining something that he wanted to achieve during his rule
1-2 maps showing the country he was born, where a major event occurred or
where they fought in a war
