Civil Rights Movement

Unit Summary

This unit explores the struggle for civil rights by various groups in the 20th century.


Essential Question

To what extent were the civil rights movements of the last half of the 20th century successful?

Part I - African American Civil Rights

US HIST 26A Explain actions taken by people to expand economic opportunities and political rights, including those for racial, ethnic, and religious minorities as well as women, in American society.
