Goals:
SWBAT: Research the biography of one of the European rulers during the Age of Absolutism
Investigate and record EVIDENCE in the areas of control which identify a ruler as absolute

Create a biographical sketch of one of the absolute rulers based on the evidence
Create a poster outlining the key EVIDENCE of the ruler’s absolutism and illustrate
STEP 1: Students will work in investigative teams.
STEP 2: Leader will assign each member of the group a control topic to investigate and collect EVIDENCE to support the biographical sketch of the ruler.

STEP 3: Start your investigation with the textbook
STEP 4: Research more EVIDENCE online using the Chrome books and complete all research for homework
Gather enough EVIDENCE on your topic to prove the ruler is an absolute ruler
STEP 5: Record the final EVIDENCE on a GROUP worksheet
STEP 6: Edit down the information to reflect only the most important evidence
STEP 7: Create a visual that illustrates the absolute ruler and supply the most important supporting EVIDENCE
