Hamilton-Jefferson Project CLASS SET
You will use prior knowledge based on our readings and discussion to produce your masterpiece.
Directions: You will fill your blank piece of paper with Hamiltonian and Jeffersonian ideas – this mini-poster represents what you stand for based on Hamilton and Jefferson’s ideas. These ideas need to be something you agree with. Your paper will most likely be a hodge-podge of ideas that come from two opposing positions. You can divide your paper in half with something that represents either Hamilton or Jefferson. For example, Jefferson’s support was mostly from the South; Hamilton’s was in the North. You can split your paper into a North vs South section and then begin to illustrate your ideas or…you can set up your mini-poster like a collage (my example in class) where your ideas fill the paper. If you do this, please place a J for Jefferson or a H for Hamilton next to each illustrated idea to indicate ownership of that idea. See example. In addition to this, identify if you are a Hamilton or a Jefferson. If you seem to be balanced between the two, identify yourself as such (HamJeff).
